CC: cARTpets

Outsider artist CC, better known to his mum as Alireza Asbahi, shows his latest collection of carpets and hangings. It’s quirky, interesting art that collages and layers materials and shapes. His works have the same kind of raw energy that is more commonly found these days in urban art; the subject matter though reflects Iranian history and culture, particularly the traditional iconography like the Lion and the Sun.
