No amount is too small and every dirham will help support those in need. You can donate directly via the Emirates Red Crescent website or drop cash at Warehouse A1.

From Friday 20 October to Monday 30 October there will be a collection point for donated goods in Warehouse A1, Alserkal Avenue – open daily 10am to 7pm. Here’s what’s needed:

Food

• Tuna cans
• Teabags
• Flour
• Rice
• Table salt
• Lentils
• Cooking oil
• Pasta
• Sugar
• Canned chickpeas
• Canned beans

Hygiene

• Shampoo
• Bath towels
• Face towels
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrushes
• Razor blades
• Sanitary pads
• Soap

Winter

• Fleece blankets
• Adult’s jackets
• Children’s jackets
• Tents
• Sleeping bags
• Blankets
• Sheets

A number of the Avenue’s stores, F&B outlets and activity spaces are committing some or all of their profits from this period to the cause. And on 21 and 22 October, from 4-7pm Alserkal Arts Foundation (Warehouse 50/51) will be a space for people to come together, to listen, and to offer support through readings, talks, and collective activities.
