Tracing the Unseen: Landscapes of Memory and Metaphor

This exhibition brings together four artists from the Atassi Foundation collection – Walid El-Masri, Farouq Kondakji, Rida Hus Hus, and Omar Hamdi – whose work reimagines the landscape not as a fixed geography, but as a space of memory, metaphor, and transformation. Together, these works resist traditional representations of land or nation; instead, they explore how landscapes can hold the trace of emotion, the residue of experience, and the shifting boundaries of identity.
