Bassam Freiha Art Foundation continues its monthly lecture series led by Dr Michaela Watrelot, BFAF Curator and Director of Exhibitions. This time it explores a pivotal moment in art history shaped by political upheaval, intellectual transformation, and shifting social ideals in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Featuring the works of Delacroix, David, Goya, and Turner, the lecture traces the transition from academic tradition to expressive, emotionally charged, and socially engaged forms of painting.
