Marc Quinn: Photosynthetic Forms

The rebranding of Custot Gallery Dubai to Waddington Custot Dubai is coming up trumps with some big names (the partnership of long-time London art dealer Leslie Waddington, and French dealer Stephane Custot dates back to 2010, and Custot became sole owner in 2015). This time its a solo exhibition by Marc Quinn that aims to explore humanity’s complex relationship with nature and our environment: “playing with scale and materiality, Quinn is able to draw out the balance that exists between us and nature, revealing how almost everything in the world today has been manipulated and influenced by human desire …” Must be worth seeing. To 31 January.
