Leila Eskandari: Whispers of Legends

Eskandari’s exuberant and busy paintings intertwine myth and reality, exploring the power of storytelling – the artist’s inspiration for this series comes from the Shahnameh, or the Book of Kings, an ancient Persian epic poem filled with mythical figures and historical tales. Eskandari’s vibrant colours, fluid forms, and intricate patterns breathes new life into these stories. To 28 July.
