The latest instalment of this exhibition features Fereydoun Ave’s extraordinary collection of modern and contemporary Iranian and international art, from 1959 to the present – a potent (and highly recommended) reflection of the collector’s personal journey, connections, sensibilities, and experiences. The Laal Collection (named after the artist/collector’s mother) is rooted in the idea of accessibility and public engagement, offering a unique glimpse into works collected across three pivotal eras—before, during, and after the Islamic Revolution.
