ElectroFest

The NYUAD Arts Center’s mini festival of electronic music, now in its fourth edition, is getting more substantial: it’s still a one-day event “tailored for those with an ear for experimental and electronic genres, as well as those with a keen curiosity”, but under this year’s theme ‘AmbiNoise’ it offers a busy and quirky afternoon/evening of sounds and comment that “aims to uncover and spotlight the unconventional facets of electronic music that flourish beyond conventional spaces”.

The event is curated by sound artist Safeya Alblooshi, an NYUAD alumna who is current a Research Assistant with the Music and Sound Cultures Research Group there.
