Art Connects Women

Launched in 2017, this annual initiative dedicated to empowering female artists and fostering gender parity in the creative industry includes a short-run exhibition which promises “an extensive array of art works by women artists from across the world” (we don’t know who’s showing). This year’s theme is ‘Leave a Legacy’, inviting the artists to explore how their work can create a lasting, meaningful impact on the world and their future generation. So no pressure then …

The ACQ programme also includes a guided cultural tour of Abu Dhabi on 9 April, a celebratory dinner on 11 April (both invite only, we understand) and a one-day conference on 10 April with the title 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆.
