Art Appears: Chant Avedissian

Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is preparing the local audience for its 11 December opening with a series of events at Manarat al Saadiyat “for the public to engage with artists, ideas and conversations that are shaping the new museum”. This one has three days on Chant Avedissian, an artist in the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Collection, that will explore the influences that shaped Avedissian’s distinctive visual language which reinterpreted Egypt’s cultural icons, histories and collective memory through a contemporary artistic lens.
