Ahmad Tallaa: The Living Archive
21 September
FreeA solo exhibition by the Syrian artist that includes large-scale portraits, a tile installation, sculptures, artist books, and works on paper. At the centre of Tallaa’s practice is the face, not as portrait or likeness, but as witness; this exhibition, curated by Celine Azem, considers the traces that experience leaves behind on the face, the body, and “the materials we touch and are touched by”.
To 11 November.
