A pop-up exhibition by the New York-based Turkish artist in the hotel’s lobby exploring migration, memory, identity and the meaning of belonging – “for me, home is not necessarily a place we return to, but something we carry, recreate, and discover through movement and connection,” says the artist. The exhibition features mixed-media works inspired by ebru, the art of marbling on water, with sculptural boats symbolising the memories, dreams and experiences we carry through life.
