Artist Talks: Ways of Seeing, Ways of Being

A conversation between Ziad Al Najjar and Sarah Almehairi exploring the artist’s painting practice, which begins with the body as a site where space and perception are negotiated. Moving between abstraction and figuration, control and release, and the microscopic and the expansive, the discussion traces how body, nature, and the spiritual are woven together in his work.

Artist Talks is an artist-to-artist conversation series founded by Sarah Almehairi in 2020, bringing together creatives based in or affiliated with the UAE to discuss their practices.
