A solo exhibition by the Mumbai-based artist; much of his work comes from what he has seen and handled there. Nai works with jute, newspaper, cardboard, used clothing, mosquito mesh and corrugated metal; he cuts, folds, compresses and layers these materials, often through slow and repetitive processes. “Rather than hiding what they were originally used for, he makes that history part of the work”.
