CLOSING TODAY Archipelago of Whispers

A group show curated by Deniz Kirkali and Elham Puriya Mehr that brings together works in video, sound installations, and performance that explore “alternative infrastructures for knowledge-making such as whispers, murmurs, hums, gossip, and storytelling”.

The artists include Aliaskar Abarkas, Ruba Al-Sweel, Farah Al Qasimi, Gizem Karakaş, Yen Chun Lin, Omar Mismar and Ayman Zedani; they have approached communication from distinct perspectives, from whispered confessions to an endangered whale song, language games, dreams, and participatory performance.
