“What is the ultimate goal of a city?” asks architect/artist Hamad Almuzaini: “Governance and the streamlining of lived experience – an impossible task – or something more open, broken, and constantly reinvented?” The exhibition looks at placemaking within the context of Kuwait City, considering everyday details, overlooked objects, and urban infrastructures that shape places to trace the subtle relationships between people, objects, systems, and the built environment.
