LAST CHANCE Shalabia Ibrahim: Fields of Memory

Born in Egypt and long based in Syria, Ibrahim’s practice is deeply informed by the visual traditions of the Levant and the rural soul of the Nile. This exhibition, curated by Randa Sadaka, offers a vibrant tapestry of lived experience and imagination, highlighting her use of colour – “her dense, saturated palettes do more than fill space” says the gallery: “they structure the image and carry an immediate affective presence, acting as an emotional anchor for the viewer”.
