This online-only Christie’s sale takes place 9-23 May but includes a selection of the works in an exhibition at its DIFC base between 18 and 23 May (10am to 7pm each day). We don’t know exactly what will be on view, but the sale includes works by notable female artists like Manal Al Dowayan, Helen Khal, Monir Farmanfarmaian, Etel Adnan and Fahrelnissa Zeid; sculptural pieces by Kader Attia, Mehdi Moutashar and Romuald Hazoumè; and “experiments into figuration, abstraction and materiality” by Aboudia, Oscar Murillo and Nabil Nahas, plus “significant works by modern masters” including Marwan, Abdul Halim Radwi, Mohamed Melehi and Ahmed Cherkaoui.
