Torn

The final day of performances (7.30pm and 9.30pm) for this world premiere of a new play written and directed by the award-winning Australian writer/director Alex Broun. Torn is described as “a sexy, fast-paced, brutal, funny and at times moving dissection of post-millennium relationships … with echoes of Patrick Marber’s Closer“; lawyer Susan (Nadine Basiony) is in a relationship with advertising executive Cade (Osman Aboubakr), and voiceover artist Gerry (Elie Choufani) is in love with Susan’s PA Daniella (Lis Panilla). “Torn is about the impossibility and possibility of love in a modern world where choices abound and nothing is forever …” Should be a good show.
