Chinasa Ezugha: The Narrow Path – Glossolalia in Public

A performance film, the second in a series of three performance projects by the artist in which the act of glossolalia — speaking in tongues — can be seen as a ceremonial performance. Transcending ordinary verbal communication, it keys in on an event that focuses on ritualistic and symbolic aspects rather than the conveyance of conventional meaning.
