For this Abu Dhabi Festival recital, the gifted young Korean pianist plays Bach’s Goldberg Variations. In 2022 he was the youngest person in history to win the gold medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, aged 22; he’s been described by Marin Alsop as “a rare artist who brings profound musicality and prodigious technique organically together”.
