Your chance to remind yourself what the fuss was all about: it’s the 50th anniversary of Mike Oldfield’s masterpiece mashup of classical, jazz, folk, prog rock, and electronica – the highest-selling instrumental album of all time. This special tribute concert will feature a full band with conducting and arrangements by Oldfield’s long-term collaborator, Robin Smith. (Oldfield himself won’t be there; his label says he’s retired, and notwithstanding his enthusiasm for Donald Trump and Brexit he’s chosen to live in the Bahamas since 2009.)
