Nine-year-old Cait (a terrific debut by Catherine Clinch) goes to live with her mother’s cousin for the summer, and Eibhlín (Carrie Crowley) and her farmer husband Seán (Andrew Bennett) take Cait in to help alleviate her parents’ financial woes. Cait finds freedom in this new world along with the attention she so desperately needs. But there is an unspoken grief in the house, one that Cait’s youthful curiosity begins to uncover … In Irish with English subtitles, and highly recommended.
