Superb soul and gospel, and purveyor of one of the best Nina Simone tributes (one of her ten albums). Her voice is sensational; “I could listen to this lady all day” said a Jazz Weekly reviewer. She sings with the regular residents, the Alexey Cheremizov Jazz Band.
Doors open at 7pm, Chanda Rule is on about 9pm, and the evening winds up around 1am. The price buys you a stool and you have to queue for your drinks; pay more, and you can get served at a shared barrel, a table, or the VIP lounge.
