The Female Gaze – Women in the Middle Eastern Art Scene

A conversation in the recently inaugurated Bassam Freiha Art Foundation‘s Art Dialogues series, featuring four Emirati artists – Najat Makki, Latifa Saeed, Sumayyah Al Suwaidi and Azza Al Qubaisi – and led by BFAF’s Curator, Michaela Watrelot. Coinciding with International Women’s Day, the discussion will consider the role of gender in art and honour the significant contributions of women to the Middle Eastern art scene.
