Summer Cinema: In Memory of David Lynch

Jameel’s Summer Cinema, organised in collaboration with The Culturist Film Club and curated by Hind Mezaina, ia a season of free-to-attend films about cities, archives, and the ways we live and remember together – plus this special evening celebrating the work of the late David Lynch, with Hind Mezaina and Rebecca Crookshank selecting works by and about David Lynch. We’re promised fragments of Lynch’s cinematic and artistic universe, ranging from scenes in his films and commercials to music videos, artworks, and interviews.

The screening will be followed by a conversation between Hind Mezaina and Rebecca Crookshank. Audiences are encouraged to engage in “collective viewing” and food and refreshments will be available.
