The original, and possibly the best, of the Star Wars mega-franchise. Written and directed by George Lucas, and featuring one of the most dramatic intros ever, this unmissable adventure introduced a galaxy of cleverly drawn characters – Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his co-pilot Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), and of course a masterful Jedi master in Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness). This is a newly restored version, too. Essential viewing.
