NYU Keys for Two

This should be an impressive performance in The Arts Center’s Red Theater: two virtuosos of the piano – Eteri Andjaparidze (Professor of Piano at NYUNY) and Ioannis Potamousis (NYUAD Professor of Piano) – come together for recital programme featuring solo pieces and duets. They’re both Steinway Artists and promise “a musical journey through time, weaving together contrasting styles and textures”. The programme includes the Sonata in D Major by Mozart, Fauré’s Dolly Suite for four hands, “the playful complexity of Ligeti”, and Rachmaninoff’s Six Morceaux Op.11 (another four-hander).
