Mezzotono

A Mezzotono concert is always engaging, always interesting. They describe themselves as a small orchestra without instruments – just five voices, quality singing, and a unique style which blends vocal harmonies, beatboxing, and vocal percussion. They aim to cover many music styles with Italian and dialect songs (they’re Italian) from jazz to pop via mambo, tango, folk music, big band jazz and classical – and all a capella. The genial stage presence is another plus, and this is a show that should really suit the Cultural Foundation’s outdoor amphitheatre very well. Recommended, especially at this price.
