The rather good South African / Indian comedian is back for a Dubai Comedy festival gig with his alter ego, Self-Help Singh, alternative life coach and de-motivational speaker (who apparently “first appeared to Boomgaard in a vision after he fell and hit his head while rushing to the bathroom in an attempt to outrun the gastric consequences of bad lamb vindaloo”). It’s fast, funny, and packed with sharp takes on modern life: recommended.
