Makers Days
Dubai Cultureâs Makers Days initiative is back â two days intended to promote creative manufacturing in Dubai by bringing together makers, designers, artists, creative entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and fabricators with a view to promoting new opportunities for SMEs (both manufacturers and people who might want something made). Itâs aiming to attract more than 150 participants for a programme of workshops, talks, panel discussions, networking sessions; a Makerâs Connect programme will provide âcurated mentorship opportunitiesâ; and there will be guided visits to a selection of production facilities within the Al Quoz Creative Zone.
Applogies for the lack of detail; we have gleaned this much from a press release but there doesnât seem to be any online information either at Dubai Cultureâs website or Alserkalâs. The programme will probably be published first on Instagram, so maybe keep an eye on that. Weâll try to keep abreast of this and update when we can âŚ
