Les Monologues du V.

A reprise of Culture Emulsion’s careful and effective treatment of the Vagina Monologues; the dramatist Eve Ensler based her text on more than 200 interviews with women who confided their sensations, their traumas, their aspirations, their anxieties, their joys … As the publicity for this Francophone presentation originally put it: “plus qu’une pièce de théâtre, c’est un véritable phénomène de société”. This powerful piece of feminist theatre is performed (in French, of course) by Solena Banks, Marie-Alice Drissi and Chrystele Rossignol and directed by Stéphane Brismontier as part of Culture Emulsion’s annual Tous en Scène festival of Francophone theatre.
