The regular Alliance Française ciné-apéro evening (a glass of wine and canapés before the screening) this month features this well-reviewed legal drama film starring Daniel Auteul, who also co-wrote and directed it.  Jean Monier is a disillusioned lawyer, appointed to defend Nicolas Milik, a man accused of murdering his wife; while trying to prove his client’s innocence, Monier finds himself more and more involved in the case … In French with English subtitles.
