Laaroussa Quartet

A symphony of dance, music and documentary, exploring how roots and heritage shape our lives. For one hour, four dancers, a singer and a violinist elevate the crafting of clay dolls into a living archive of memory and expression. Through this piece, choreographers Selma and Sofiane Ouissi affirm the power of words and song to carry knowledge, tradition and identity across generations. Laaroussa Quartet, which premiered at the Festival d’Avignon, is part of the Perform Sharjah performance programme.
