Jesús Herrera Flamenco Ballet: Hamlet

A flamenco ballet, inspired by Shakespeare’s tragedy and featuring more than 30 artists in total — dancers, orchestra, choir — under the direction of Spanish choreographer Jesús Herrera. It should be an interesting interpretation of the play: “movement replaces words and every gesture reflects the eternal human conflict between reason and passion”. The music is “inspired by” Mussorgsky, merged with flamenco singing for “a collision of classical and contemporary worlds, of light and shadow, silence and rhythm”. There are shows at 5pm and 9pm.
