Hold the Mushrooms

The dynamic of a close-knit family of three is altered when the daughter introduces her boyfriend into their world: the father doesn’t think the boy is good enough, arguments and ruptures follow, and all those involved have different perspectives … The play is about relationships, value systems, and prejudices – how we are unable to express ourselves and how pride won’t allow us to make up with our loved ones. Written by Binoy Mohan, it’s directed by Dubai theatre veteran Rashmi Kotriwala.

There are shows today at 2.30 and 7.30pm, and tomorrow at 2.30pm.
