The ‘Edith’ is Edith Édith, and singer Jil Aigrot provided Piaf’s voice in the Oscar-winning La Vie en Rose. This production, which has already been a success when staged in Dubai some months ago, takes audiences on a journey through Piaf’s life and music – and along the way, her iconic songs like “La Vie en Rose”, “Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien” and “Mon Dieu” are brought vividly to life by Aigrot’s powerful vocals and an accompanying trio.
