Connecting Minds Book Club: Ben Okri

“Books alone can’t save the world,” says the blurb for this new book club. “But passionate readers can.” At the opening event of what we’re told will be a regular LitFest-style session with “renowned authors from around the world”, the Booker Prize-winning novelist and poet Ben Okri will launch his new book, Tiger Work, a series of essays on climate, the environment and wildlife. He’ll be in conversation with Emirates Literature Foundation CEO Ahlam Bolooki; there will be a Q&A to follow and a book signing session.
