Long Trip: dir Ali Kadhum (Iraq/Belgium, 2021: 13 mins) Following the death of his father, Dries has to decide on cremation locally or burial – which custom requires be in the country of his broth.

Mid-Way: dir Rola Shamas (Lebanon, 2022: 10 mins – top) The trains have arrived. But, in the midst of this rush to nowhere, are we listening to birds? To rivers? To ourselves?
