7pm Foragers dir Jumana Manna (2022)

In Arabic and Hebrew with English subtitles.
9pm Tara dir Volker Sattel and Francesca Bertin (2022)
Tara, the ‘River of Good Fortune’ that connects the Italian port city of Taranto to the monstrous steel mill on the harbour side, is said to have healing, magical powers despite being in one of the most polluted rivers in Europe. Through precise, poetic images, this documentary explores the social and physical spaces around the river, the parallels between economic and ecological exploitation, and the lives of people living on the margins of post-capitalism. Italian with English subtitles.
