C’est si bon: dir Kim Hyun-suk (2015)

Three young artists bicker over their music in the hip music bar C’est Si Bon, where they formed the C’est Si Bon Trio. Tehn beautiful socialite Ja-young enters the picture and becomes their muse, and a series of moving love songs follow … Geun-tae wins Ja-young over but then she accepts a once-in-lifetime opportunity for a shot at an acting career and they have to part. After 20 years, the untold story of their love, song, and youth is finally brought to light.

This film screens as part of the ninth edition of the Korean Film Festival, presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Center. This year’s festival has the theme ‘Music’ and showcases a selection of Korean films that highlight the power of music in storytelling.
