Block Barty

“Better than the art afterparty” claims 421. “We’re ramping up the art season with pop-up vendors, independent brands, eclectic workshops, diverse entertainment, neighbourhood walks, and obviously, more art … Block Barty is for the ‘art’ people, the non-art art people, the people you kinda know from the internet but not really because approaching them might be awkward (but you do it anyway). And the people who bring their confused – but supportive – parents to the party.”

Not sure that tells us much, but the enthusiasm is undeniable – and it’s all free. The weekend features workshops and participations, food stalls, the Urban Market Concept (“pop-ups, thrifting and more”), and live music and breakdancing on stage:
