Berklee Abu Dhabi Music Summit

Berklee Abu Dhabi’s “groundbreaking” music summit is intended to explore “the intersection of artistic expression and intelligent innovation” while “addressing the personal and professional journey artists take to discover their unique sound and creative identity”.

In practice this means a two-day programme of sessions on performance, songwriting, education, music technology and production, health and wellness, and the music business (including rights protection and intellectual property); it’s a curriculum that would indeed seem to offer a practical approach to music and the music business for both emerging artists and more established professionals.

Day one runs 10am to 7pm, day 2 is 1pm to 8pm (or later – there’s an outdoor jam session to finish).
