The second performance for Gautam Goenka’s “gripping” Hindi adaptation of Reginald Rose’s classic courtroom drama film 12 Angry Men, reimagined for contemporary India. Twelve jurors have to decide the fate of a young man accused of a brutal crime: inside the jury room, personal biases, social divides, prejudice, ego, and conscience collide as one juror dares to question the verdict everyone else seems ready to deliver … Baarah promises “an intense, thought-provoking theatrical experience that explores justice, morality, and the power of standing alone for what you believe in”.
