Najib is a multidisciplinary artist from Iran whose practice includes painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and art jewellery but primarily revolves around kinetic mechanisms and magnetic fields. His fascination with magnetism, ergonomic placement elements, and environmental sensing has led him to develop his own unique tools and instruments.
This exhibition deploys this in a meditation on human existence; it “traces our journey from the fluidity of circles to the rigidity of squares, symbolising the transformations we undergo throughout life … It reflects the pursuit of perfection and salvation while celebrating the inherent beauty of imperfection …” Should be interesting.
To 9 November.
