Another City is Possible: Mediating Architecture

For the next event in its SAT03 public programme, Sharjah Architecture Triennial presents a conversation on reimagining the city and the possibilities of architecture beyond its conventional boundaries.

Led by Vyjayanthi Rao and Tau Tavengwa, Curator and Associate Curator of SAT03, the discussion will be moderated by Kenneth Bailey, Co-founder of Design Studio for Social Intervention (DS4SI), an organisation that works on rebuilding public spaces to be more equitable and vibrant.

The conversation will look at the way urban space is produced not only through buildings and infrastructure, but also through social relations, narrative and cultural practice – which essentially is the conceptual framework of Architecture Otherwise, theme of the SAT03 Triennial.
