The Egyptian singer (and songwriter, and actor) has a magnetic stage presence and a great back catalogue, based on more than 30 albums and four decades of contribution to the Arabic and global music scene – and especially his way of fusing traditional Arabic songs with modern pop and electronic styles. Should be a good gig.
