Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein: dir Charles Barton (1948)

Gratifyingly, this does exactly what it says on the tin (or rather, in the title): the world of railroad baggage handlers Chick Young (Bud Abbott) and Wilbur Grey (Lou Costello) is turned upside down when they receive a strange shipment – the last remains of Dracula (Bela Lugosi) and Frankenstein (Glenn Strange) en route to the House of Horrors museum. Chaos ensues as Chick and Wilbur get mixed up in an evil plot to switch Wilbur’s brain with Frankenstein’s; things aren’t helped by the presence of Larry Talbot (Lon Chaney, Jr.), who turns into The Wolf Man when the moon is full … Plays in a double with The Mummy at 3.25pm.
