Sharjah Architecture Triennial: opening week

The third edition of the Sharjah Architecture Triennial runs 14 November to to 14 April under the theme Architecture Otherwise: Building Civic Infrastructure for Collective Futures.

Curated by Vyjayanthi Rao, with Tau Tavengwa as Associate Curator, SAT03 brings together 35 participants working across architecture, art, design, urbanism, research and other fields. Together, they explore how architecture can contribute to collective life and respond to the rapidly changing conditions of our world.

The opening week programme (14-19 November) is the busiest, of course, with a range of panel discussions, workshops, screenings, tours and other public activations across Sharjah – full details to follow, but it is free and open to the public. Register your attendance here.
