The Laughter Factory Premium Comedy Club

The June Laughter Factory tour again has the usual mix of international visitors and local stars. This lunchtime gig is an interesting departure for The Laughter Factory – enjoy a proper roast Sunday lunch before or after the 2pm comedy show (the meal is charged extra, obviously). On the bill:

Michael Shafar – the headliner is the London-based Australian comedian, a fast-rising name on the circuit who combines fearless observation in his razor-sharp writing with great stage presence
Obaid – deadpan style, offbeat logic and understated delivery have made him a distinctive voice on the UAE comedy scene
Salman Qureshi – one of the Middle East’s best-known (and hardest-working) standups, host of The Expat Brat Podcast
Roxy – British-Iranian comic known for fearless crowd work, energetic storytelling and hilarious takes on modern life and cultural chaos
